Count Your Blessings - The Key To Developing Excellence

My Long Trip To Boston

Thought and Principle: If we all took the time to count our blessings, we would never complain.
I remember this day well when I heard this. SABE201 practice test It made me realize the blessings that are all around us that we may never see because we are too busy complaining about the things we have no control over. That's crazy.
I was flying from St. Louis to Boston for a business trip. The flight was about 2 1/2 hours and then it was about a 45 minute drive from Boston Logan airport to Andover, MA. which was in the northern suburbs.
I would usually work all day and then take the last flight out of St. Louis. I would get in to Boston very late and not get a lot of sleep to be prepared for the next morning.
I remember flying and complaining to myself of the long flight and then thinking of the long ride from the airport to Andover. Then, when I got to Boston, I have to go retrieve my luggage, drag it through the airport, and then find the shuttle service to take me to my hotel room. It was raining, cold, and miserable outside. And, it was cold and miserable within my mental make-up.
I was griping, complaining, and upset because RDCR08201 practice test I hated this journey. So, finally at 11:30pm, I arrived at my hotel room and plopped down on the bed and turned on the television. I turned on CNN sports and the anchor was Fred Hickman.
At the moment I turned on the tv, he said something that was so powerful that it has stuck with me forever. He said, "If we all took the time to count our blessings, we would never complain."
It was a blessing for me to fly half way across the country and travel on those highways for me to make it safe. Some people never make it home from traveling, whether in their car, truck, bus, train, or plane. I was a new person from that day forward.
Now, just think of situations and outcomes in your life, do you feel blessed and do you take the time to count your blessings? Or, are you doing what 95% of the population (I really don't know if it is this many but sometimes it seems like it) is complaining about how the world is not devoted to making you happy.
Who the hell said that it was suppose to make you happy? You have to make your own self happy and it all begins with the very thoughts in your mind.
So, to take things to a higher level and to create E22-315 more success and excellence, know that you have many blessings all around you and it is time now to start taking note. And, accept the blessings and no more will you spend time and energy complaining about things and people you have no control over.
Peace. Dana Easter El - The Doctor Of Excellence.
