What Is One's Image?

What is image? Most of us when we think of our image we think about what we look like, the clothes we wear, and how we style our hair, but when it comes to our image we have both our internal and our external image. Our internal image consists of what we think of ourselves, while our external image is how we present ourselves. In order for to effectively change one's image it is important to address both the internal and external images since it is a combination of both that comprises our overall image and how others perceive us.
Our internal image or self-image is expressed to the world though what I like to call our expressive behavior, which represents how we act, our confidence, posture and other body language signals we may use to express what's going on inside our bodies and mind. Those with poor internal images often act in ways that are detrimental to one's health or achieving one's life goals, which often leads to a more pessimistic or inhibited outlook on life and the world.
Our external image is typically what everyone thinks of when they think of one's image. Our external image is the visual impression we give to others. It consists of our physical appearance, our clothingApple 9L0-622 practice test, hair and skin, everything that is visible to the naked eye when people first look at us. It is easy to change and manipulate, and gives us the ability to change perception, more specifically the way others perceive us, and sometimes the way we perceive ourselves.
From our hair down to our shoes, everything about us can be manipulated and changed to alter perception. Actors and actresses us this as a way to get us to love or hate not only them but the characters they portray. Executives and salesmen use their appearance to instill confidence in their clients, manipulating their appearance subtly to create a more successful, talented, and capable perception. Even television makeover shows show their audience how easy it can be to alter our external image changing not only how we perceive ourselves,UN0-101 but how others perceive us just by manipulating our appearances.
