Overcoming Insecurity

At some point, every person reaches a stage wherein he or she will be insecure about something or someone. Insecurity is caused by negative-thinking. Pessimism may hold a lot of factors which Business Objects RDCR08301 exam eventually lead to insecurity. Here are some examples:
An experience from his or her childhood can cause a person to become insecure as an adult, like comparing a child's ability with the others, or bullying of classmates, or discrimination of a child from a circle of friends.
Low self-esteem. People who have low self-esteem often become insecure of other people who look and feel better. Without confidence, a person easily becomes frustrated.
Selfishness. Some people may be insecure because of their selfish traits. When you your best friend has a new friend, and because of this, your friend doesn't have the same amount of time to hang out with you. You feel a stroke of jealousy and automatically think that your best friend replaced you with someone new. That is immature and is considered as selfishness.
Pride. Sometimes you become insecure whenever someone is ahead of you. As a defense mechanism, you end up disliking the person, because again, he or she has something that you cannot have. It's either wealth, wisdom, talent or some other asset. You can't stand the fact that you are just second best.

Now that you know what is causing your feeling of insecurity, it's time for you to know how to overcome it. Here are some exercises that you can do:
Business Objects QAW1301 exam Don't worry about what other people might think. You can't please everybody anyway, so it's always best to just be yourself.
Focus on your strengths. Know what you are capable of, and always put in mind that you are unique because of what you can do. You are not a clone. You are a human being who is perfectly able to maximize his or her potentials.
Look to the brighter side at all times. It's not saying that you should be happy-go-lucky all the time, but it is always better to think of the good in something, rather than looking at the bad side most of the time.
Seek motivation. There are a lot of people who can give you the motivation you need. Start off with your loved ones and your friends, and when you feel their undying support, looks like you have a lifetime supply of encouragement.
Live pride-free. You can always be proud of yourself, but do not make it your dominant habit. Pride will get you nowhere. Learn how to be contented with what you can do. There will always be people better than you, but at least you have some things that make you better than them one way or another. "There is nothing wrong with being No.2", take BH0-007 it from the author Mitch Albom.

Never think that you can't be at your best. Always know that you can be whoever you want to be just by being yourself.
