This is a major area of concern. I hear so many people using negative words when they speak of themselves. Many times, they don't even realize they're doing it! Make a list of your accomplishments - big and small. Celebrate the fact that you have completed these!
Create affirmations about yourself that are empowering and positive. Make sure these are present tense as if it is you right now whether you fully believe it or not. "I am a..." or "I love and respect myself." or something similar.
Say these affirmations while looking at yourself in the mirror. It may seem uncomfortable at first, but keep at it.
Record yourself speaking these affirmations & listen to it twice a day - at least.
Hang around positive people who will offer encouragement, support and growth in your life.
Laugh at life. Even if you force the laughter, after a minute you'll genuinely laugh at how silly you feel laughing. It's all good. Laughter is the best medicine for negative thoughts.
