I love telling my stories about how I have overcome tremendous adversities. I enjoy telling about the triumphs and victories that I have accomplished in life. I worked for many years through Nashville CARES a non-profit organization that cares for people with HIV and AIDS. I would go to different high schools and colleges throughout Nashville and surrounding areas, educating others about the disease of AIDS.I was diagnosed with HIV in 1987 when I was 14 years old, at that time there was very little known about the disease. I was told that I probably wouldn't live to see my 18th birthday, yet here I am a quarter of a century healthier than I have ever been. Throughout my years I have faced Business Objects DMDI301 exam many tragedies and adversities, yet instead of breaking my spirits it has made me a stronger individual.I have been battling HIV for 24 years and full-blown AIDS for 17 years. I have survived by keeping a positive attitude and being able to talk about my disease openly. I continue to strive to spread the message that AIDS doesn't have to be a death sentence, that there is life after an AIDS diagnosis. Although I have faced many roadblocks throughout my journey, I continue to succeed in all my endeavors. I have helped put a face on the disease of AIDS, and stop the stigma and discrimination associated with this disease.I have encouraged others with my stories of strength and survival. I have let others know that they too can overcome any obstacle that life puts in their path. I feel that it is my obligation to encourage others and save one person at a time from the disease of AIDS. Although I may not win any awards, or the Noble Peace Prize, I am satisfied with one life at a time.So BH0-008 if you ask me what my passion in life is, I would have to say it is sharing my stories of living with AIDS. If there was one piece of advice that I could give anyone with HIV or AIDS it would be to face this disease head on, keep a positive attitude, and believe in your higher power.
